Interactive Charts

Trading Vault provides interactive charts powered by TradingView, allowing you to see and review your positions. Your exact position will automatically be drawn onto the chart, enabling you to observe how the price moved at the time of your trade, including before and after. This feature captures details that are often overlooked in manual snapshots.

Data

Our high-quality data provider enables viewing historical data, even on lower timeframes, which is often unavailable in live charting platforms, even with premium plans.

To support viewing historical data, especially on lower timeframes, which might be hundreds-of-thousands of bars old, only bars during and around the time of the trade will be loaded, instead of loading all data from the current time back to the time of the trade. Consequently, you may not be able to scroll forward all the way to the present. This limitation also applies when using the "go-to" feature to jump to a historical time.

Charting only supports symbols available in the symbol picker.

Note: The charts do not provide live data and are intended for reviewing historical trades, not monitoring live markets.

Drawings

Your trade is automatically drawn onto the chart based on the details you entered into your position table in the details section. You can control how much is automatically drawn onto the chart by clicking on the 'Chart Settings' button in the toolbar and toggling the various drawings.

Setting Description Show position Draws a Long/Short position tool overlaying your position onto the chart. Show execution arrows Draws an execution arrow on the bars where your trade was opened and closed. Show open line Draws a horizontal line at the price your trade was opened. Show close line Draws a horizontal line at the price your trade was closed. Show stop line Draws a horizontal line at the price of your original stop. Show target line Draws a horizontal line at the price of your original target.

You can also manually draw on the chart with all of the tools available in Trading View allowing you to re-analyze your historical position.

Saving Charts

Chart settings and indicators can be saved using the "Save Layout" button, however, manual drawings are not saved. To maintain a historical record of how you viewed the trade at the time of execution, it is still recommended to store snapshots of your trade.

Actions

Quick actions are available in the toolbar.

Focus trade Centers the chart back on your position if you have scrolled forward or back in time. Chart settings Opens the chart settings to customise the automated position drawings.
