Stats

The stats page is a powerful tool that provides a comprehensive analysis of all your trades. By reviewing the detailed statistics, you can gain valuable insights into your trading performance and identify areas that require improvement. The information presented on this page is highly useful in helping you make informed decisions about your trading plan.

The filters enable you to select any combination of trades for analysis. This allows you to drill down into specific time periods or instruments, or to filter your trades by other relevant factors such as tags, profit and performance. By selecting the right filters, you can gain a deeper understanding of your trading performance and make informed decisions about how to optimize your trading approach.

If you need more information on each statistical measurement and its corresponding formula, you can visit the glossary and formulas page for a comprehensive explanation.

All trades

The "All" tab displays the statistics for all of your trades selected by the filters. You can use the buttons in the top right corner to switch between calculations based on Reward-to-Risk, Net Profit, and Profit Percentage.

Trade statistics

The Trade Statistics table offers a comprehensive analysis of your trading performance. It provides a detailed breakdown of your Wins, Losses, and Break-Even trades.

You can use the tabs along the top to switch between different views, such as Totals, Average per Trade, Average per Month, and Max Streaks. This allows you to view your trading performance from different angles.

Reward-to-risk

The Reward-to-Risk graph is a visual representation of your account's Reward-to-Risk Ratio over a specified time period. It enables you to see the progress of your trading strategy and identify areas that require improvement.

To change the view of the graph, you can use the buttons below the x-axis to switch between monthly totals and a running balance of all trades. You can also use the buttons in the top right corner to adjust the time frame of the graph. Additionally, the slider located below the graph allows for easy panning and zooming, enabling you to focus on specific time periods of interest.

Drawdown and updraw

The drawdown and updraw widget provides insights into the maximum and average results of your trading. The widget displays the drawdown, which is the maximum amount of money lost from your account balance during a losing streak, and the updraw, which is the maximum amount of money gained during a winning streak.

To understand how these numbers were calculated, you can hover over the "i" button located next to the widget. This will provide additional data points and insights on the calculations behind the numbers.

Monitoring your drawdown and updraw can help you identify the risk associated with your trading strategy and make necessary adjustments to improve your overall trading performance.

Trade performance

The Trade Performance widget is an essential tool for calculating your average performance across all your trades. To get accurate calculations, you need to record key prices for each trade, including entry, exit, stop, target, Maximum Adverse (MAP) and Maximum Favourable (MFP).

By selecting any stat in the Trade Performance widget, you can view all your trades on an interactive graph. This feature helps you visualise your performance and analyse your trading strategy effectively. Moreover, if a particular trade stands out, you can click it within the graph to load that trade for a more detailed analysis.

The Trade Performance widget provides valuable information to help you tweak your strategies and maximise your trading profits. For example, an average entry efficiency of 20% may indicate that you are entering too early and could be more patient to avoid some losses. Similarly, an average end trade drawdown greater than 1 R:R may suggest that you are exiting too late, giving back more than your initial risk. By identifying these patterns, you can make informed decisions and adjust your trading strategy for better results.

Strike rate & minimum reward:risk to break even

The goal of trading is to identify and capitalize on a profitable edge. This widget is designed to help you visualize your performance by displaying it against a break-even line. A performance above the line indicates profitability, while a performance below the line indicates losses.

The widget also shows the required strike rate that you need to achieve based on your current average Reward-to-Risk per trade to break even. Similarly, it displays the minimum Reward-to-Risk Ratio you should be targeting on a trade based on your current strike rate. This information can be used to adjust your trading strategy to achieve better profitability.

Monthly stats

The monthly stats table provides a summary of your trading results for each month and year. You can customize the data shown by using the buttons located in the top right-hand corner of the table. These buttons allow you to toggle between different metrics such as Reward-to-Risk, Profit Percentage, Net Profit, and Strike Rate. This enables you to quickly view and compare your performance across different time periods and metrics, helping you to identify patterns

Comparisons

One of the key benefits of the stats page is that it allows you to focus on specific aspects of your trades. The tabs along the top of the page provide a range of options to help you compare and analyze different aspects of your trading, such as strategies, symbols, markets, sessions and days of the week. These comparisons can provide a clear picture of where you are performing well and where you need to refine your trading approach.

Stats comparisons table

The comparison table is a powerful tool that provides a side-by-side view of each element in the selected category. It showcases the key statistics for quick comparisons, allowing you to identify patterns and trends in your trading performance.

Moreover, clicking on any row in the comparison table will expand it and provide you with more detailed statistics on that specific element. This enables you to drill down into the data and gain a deeper understanding of your performance in that area. For instance, if you click on a specific trading symbol in the comparison table, you will see detailed information on your averages, drawdown, trade performance, and other relevant metrics related to that symbol.

Stats comparisons graph

The stats comparison graph is a useful tool that provides a visual representation of your trading performance. You can easily compare any statistic by using the dropdown selector to choose the desired stat, and then use the buttons to switch between a bar graph and a pie graph. This allows you to easily identify trends and patterns in your trading data, helping you to make more informed decisions.

Break even analysis

The graph displays a visual representation of your trading performance by plotting each element based on its average reward-to-risk ratio against its strike rate. The best and worst performers are clearly distinguished, with elements above the break-even line indicating profitability and those below it indicating losses. This allows you to quickly identify which elements are working well for you and which ones need improvement.
