Trading Groups

Joining or creating a trading group on Trading Vault can be a game-changer for traders looking to boost their trading expertise. By joining a group, traders can tap into a community of like-minded individuals, engage in mentorship, share strategies, receive feedback on trades, and learn from each other's experiences. When a user becomes part of a group, they gain access to a treasure trove of shared trades, filters, and statistics, just like they have on their own personal journal. However, joining a group doesn't automatically add your trades to the group's portfolio. It's up to each user to decide which trades they wish to share.

My groups

To access trading groups, head over to the 'Groups' section on the left-hand side navigation menu. This will take you to the 'My Groups' page, which lists all the groups you're a member of. If you'd like to keep a group front and center, just select the star icon to favorite it and pin it to the top of your list.

Join a trading group

If you have received an invitation to join a group, you can accept it by navigating to the 'Pending Invitations' tab. Simply locate the invite and proceed to accept it. On the other hand, if you have received a direct link to a group, you can easily become a member by clicking the 'Join Group' button. However, please keep in mind that if the group is set to private, you will need to wait for an administrator to review and approve your request to join the group.

Explore all groups

If you're looking for new groups to join, simply hit the 'explore all groups' button in the top right-hand corner. This will take you to a page displaying all the non-hidden and visible trading groups. If a group is private, you'll need to request to join the group before you can see any trades. On the other hand, if the group is public, you can view all the trades and stats without joining. If you wish to join a public group, press the 'Join Group' button in the top right-hand corner, and voila! You're now a member of the group.

Leave a trading group

To leave a group, simply navigate to the 'Preferences' section in the left-hand side navigation menu and locate the 'Leave Group' button. Clicking on this button will initiate the process of leaving the group. It's important to note that when you leave a group, whether it is done voluntarily or as a result of being removed by an administrator, all of your trades associated with the group will be automatically removed as well.
